  • Display Installation
    • The diaplay mounts from the front side of the instrument panel through a 1 3/4" hole. After sliding the display through the hole place the "U" shaped hold down strap over the 8/32" stud on the back side of the display and tighten the wing nut.
    • A 3' cable with 7 wires exits the back of the display, 5 of these wires will be used for the installation.

    • Display ~ Transaxle Sensor
    • Blue ~ Red
    • Purple ~ Yellow
    • Black ~ Black (Ground)
    • Red ~ +12v
    • Green ~ Auto Dim (+12v from Light Switch)
    • White ~ Not Used
    • Pink ~ Not Used
  • System Wiring
    • It is recommended that all connections be soldered and heat shrink insulated. Do not use electrical tape as it will unravel over time. All cable used to connect the display should be good quality automotive style straneded 20 gauge wire.
    • Connect the sensor wiring to the display as described above.
    • Red wire from the Display is connected to a switched 12 volt power source to turn the display on and off with the vehicle ignition. Fuse the system with a 1/2 amp fast acting fuse.
    • Green wire from the display is Auto Dim, connects to the switched side of the lighting switch. This connection automatically dims the display when the lights are turned on for night driving.
    • Black wire from the display and transaxle sensor is Ground. Attach the ground to the Negative side of the battery or at the grouding strap.
    • Pink and White wire from the display are not used in this configuration.
