Fortin
Racing has been taking on the deserts of the world for over 30
years. From drag racing in the 1960's to the World Cup Rally in
the 70's to SCORE and HDRA Championships in the 80's and 90's
to the "Race of the Millennium" the Baja 2000. Fortin Racing continues
to conquer the toughest terrain in the world with state of the
art engineered drive train and power steering components designed
and developed by Fortin Racing Inc.
Based
in San Diego, CA Fortin Racing currently campaigns an Unlimited
Class 1 off-road race car in the SCORE International Off-Road
Racing Series. The car is driven by 29 year old Doug Fortin. With
three Baja 1000 championships and 2 Baja 500 victories under his
belt, Doug and Fortin Racing are looking forward to the race of
the millennium the Baja 2000 in November of 2000.
Fortin
racing finished second in the season points championship for 1998
and is currently charging hard to the front of the pack again
in 1999 with a win at the Baja 500 in June and a third place finish
at the Fireworks 250 in July.
