Jean Louis Schlesser, unforgettable character in the world of motorsports, is a french race car driver born on September 12th 1948, in Nancy, France. Single seater ( formula 3, formula 1 ), Touring car championships, Sports prototypes, LeMans… Jean Louis is well known for his 2 world championships with Sauber-Mercedes in 1989 and 1990. He is particularly popular and respected for his one of a kind career in Cross Country World Cup where he has been successful both as driver and manufacturer of his own brand.

Jean Louis won the Paris-Dakar twice, five times world champion in all categories and won 6 of the 12 last editions of the Africa Eco Race, the race which he now runs.
